What does UpMaker do?
UpMaker is an iPhone app for car salespeople. It syncs your dealership’s website inventory into the app, then turns each vehicle into a Facebook Marketplace listing package: the website photos with your name and cell number baked in, a listing video built in the app, and the listing fields served up in the exact order Facebook’s form asks for them. You post it — UpMaker just ends the copy-and-retype work.
Which websites does it sync with?
UpMaker syncs with dealership websites on the major dealer website platforms. It reads the structured inventory data those sites publish (including VIN, price, mileage, specs, and photos) and falls back to other on-page data when needed. During setup you point the app at your store’s inventory page and it handles the rest. If your store’s site won’t sync, email us the URL and we’ll take a look.
How does pricing work in the app?
Prices come from your website and are locked in the app — salespeople never edit them by hand, so the advertised price always matches the site. Your store’s doc fee is set once during setup and is included in every advertised price, with tax, title, and license called out separately.
What does UpMaker cost?
Two flat-rate subscriptions, billed through the App Store and renewed monthly until cancelled: Lister at $59/month (sync, listings, branded photos, videos, Marketplace handoff) and Lister Pro at $99/month (everything in Lister, plus the Messenger reply assistant and the VIN barcode scanner). No per-listing credits, no surprises.
How do the Messenger replies work?
On Lister Pro, the reply assistant drafts replies for you — by message category (price, availability, trade-in, financing, test drive), tuned to book an appointment instead of collecting pen pals. Tap “Send in Messenger” and the draft is copied while Messenger opens; you paste it in the conversation and hit send yourself. UpMaker never sends a message on its own — your words, your relationships, your appointments.
How do I post a listing to Marketplace?
Open a vehicle, tap Prepare Listing, and work the checklist top to bottom — it mirrors Facebook’s listing form in order. The one-tap handoff saves the branded photos and the listing video, copies the listing text field by field, and walks you through publishing in Facebook. Nothing posts without you.
Is my data uploaded anywhere?
No. UpMaker is local-first: inventory, photos, and settings stay on your device, and there are no user accounts or analytics SDKs. The full details are in our privacy policy.
